Manang's Chicken

Manang's Chicken at AIG Tower

Manang’s Chicken tagged as the “Bagong Fried Chicken ng Pinoy”, has the same crispiness as that of Bon Chon Chicken, but of course with a pinoy sweet and spicy sauce.

It is said that Manang’s Chicken originated from a lawyer’s house helper fried chicken recipe, thus the name of the restaurant Manang’s Chicken.

Manang’s fried chicken has bigger servings than Bon Chon Chicken’s, you can choose from three flavors original, mild hot and extra hot. When I first tasted Manang’s Chicken, it was love at first taste. It has a unique sauce, it’s like sweet soy sauce mixed with sesame seeds. It’s much crisped and the servings of the chicken are quite big. Although, I would like it if Manang’s chicken has an extra dip, because the sauce is really tasty.

1pc Chicken, original sauce

2pcs original fried chicken

If you would try eating at Manang’s Chicken I’ll recommend your order two piece chicken, thigh part and extra rice. But if you’re a fan of wings or breasts part it’s okay if you would order it. They serve their meals in styro and I don’t know if they will ever have an option to use plate for dine in. They also have delivery call numbers (+632) 584-8848.

The price of a one piece chicken is around 104php and 2 piece chickens for 134php complete with drinks. They also serve ala carte meals.
