Kalui

Kalui - Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan

This article has been long overdue; since I celebrated my 24th birthday in Palawan last May and it’s just now that I had the time to create this post. This is my 2nd time to visit Palawan and I really love this place. The nature, the breeze and from all the places I’ve been Palawan has one of the best cuisine and exotic delicacies.

Food Truck Park PH

Food Truck Park PH

Its BER-month again, this time of the year is the most hectic hours, days and weeks of our lives. The time we have to do slave labor and tons of overtime. After work, one night we decided to take on a different route on our way home – Capitol Commons, Ortigas to be exact. Luckily, there is this Food Truck Park PH – thingy on Capitol Commons we decided to park on the side and try a food truck where most people are queuing.

Think Wink Cookies

Think Wink Cookies

I’ve been really addicted to online shopping lately due to the convenience it offers. We all know the traffic here in metro manila can be a battlefield and it’s really a big gas and money saver to have it delivered. Online shopping doesn’t just stop with clothes, shoes and bags shopping but also food shopping.

Corner Cafe

Corner Cafe at Marikina

To celebrate Independence Day, I dragged my friend to the nearest new café in our area it's called Corner Cafe. The owner of the café invited me via Instagram(@nothingbutc), so do follow them because they make delicious pastries and luscious food.

Excited and anxious at the same time we didn’t know what to order, but the lovely mother-in-law of the owner helped us. She told us we can try their Salisbury steak and Dory to the extreme for starters and paired it with iced tea. We ordered their specialty cake of the day a piece of Richman’s cake. Price range is about 150-200PHP for each meal.

Swensen's

Swensen's at Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City

Late post, supposed to be last May but didn't have time to write about it. So anyway, for Mother's Day we treated La Madre to a day full of edible arrangement to delight her tummy and ours to. We spent the whole afternoon at one of our favorite family hangout, Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City. Weird thing is, I'm writing our dessert first because I'm missing it :(.

Mesa Filipino Moderne

Mesa Filipino Moderne

From all the wonderful dinning places in Megamall this one would be on my top 3 list. I've been dining here for more than 10times I think, most of the crew could recognize me. Why do I keep coming back? Well, to taste is to believe. But really, kidding aside I love the food here. The way they cook it, the flavoring and the presentation is really great. Plus the staff are welcoming and accomodating. And it's affordable specially if your with someone, since most of the food are already good for sharing. I try my best to try different viands everytime I visit and I manage to try these viands :

Holdak Chicken

Holdak Bloggers' Night

Got an e-invite to a Bloggers' Night courtesy of Holdak Chicken. At first I was hesitant to go since I know that the traffic on that area was heavy to complete standstill. But hey, I have my number one supporter by my side encouraging me to push through with the invite. Teehee

Yabu - House of Katsu

Yabu - House of Katsu
Yabu - House of Katsu

There were a lot of buzz about Yabu, and I wanted to know for myself if the rumors were true...So usually I would eat at Mesa Filipino Moderne since they serve my favorite squid which is across Yabu, but to my curiosity I choose to eat at the famous and talk of the town " Yabu - House of Katsu ". People were waiting in line here...hmm that really made me curious. :D

Big Guys! Pizza

Big Guy's Pizza
36" inch - Big Guy's Pizza

As a first blood tradition from my teammates, they treated me and the whole department to a whopping 36" inch pizza from Big Guy's Pizza.

I enjoyed this humongous pizza because the dough is soft, the pizza sauce is Pinoy style (sweet with a bit of spice) and the ingredients are overloaded. I would recommend this to all readers. It's the best big size pizza that I have tried. I'm sorry to point out but it taste way better than Calda Pizza and Monster Pizza. *peace*

Tiyo's Cuisine by Chef and Brewer

It’s been a while since my last article since I’ve been busy with work and other stuff but hey it’s never too late. So this would be my first entry for 2013 (hooray!), I have lived in Marikina since I was born (so that’s approx. 23yrs), and lately there have been a lot of resto popping around our place. One is a few streets away from where I live it is a new resto named, Tiyo’s Cuisine by Chef and Brewer.
