IPPUDO at SM Megamall

Ippudo Philippines

One of the most advertised and awaited Ramen joint here in the Philippines is Ippudo. A franchise from Japan by renowned Ramen King --  Shigemi Kawahara. Not to sound cocky and all but from all the Ramen shops Ive tried here this still is the best.

Hakata Style Gyoza for 210 PHP, an original pan-fried dumplings which is an Ippudo Classic.

Shiromaru Special for 385 to 490 PHP, Ippudo's original tonkotsu broth served with ultra-thin noodles, topped with a combination of pork belly and pork loin, salted soft boiled ehh adn seaweed. Classic Hakata style ramen.

Akamaru Special from 400 to 495 PHP, Ippudo's enhanced with special blended miso paste and fragrant garlic oil. Served with thin noodles and pork belly slices. Topped with ajikikurage, salted soft-boiled egg and seaweed. A refined modern-style ramen.

Hardness of Noodles vary from Soft, Medium, Hard and Very Hard. Personal choice for me is a very hard noodle because I don't want it to be too soft since the soup is hot.

Beef Ishiyake Rice for 495 PHP, Stewed beef with yakinuku sauce, melted butter, corn and cherry tomato, crisp garlci chips, french beans on a bed of Japanese rice, served in a hot stone pot.
