There were a lot of buzz about Yabu, and I wanted to know for myself if the rumors were true...So usually I would eat at Mesa Filipino Moderne since they serve my favorite squid which is across Yabu, but to my curiosity I choose to eat at the famous and talk of the town " Yabu - House of Katsu ". People were waiting in line here...hmm that really made me curious. :D

And I think I made the right choice. I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry on their Katsu Curry Set for about 345PHP. It took the usual 10-15min waiting time for the meal to be served. But the waiting time was not to mind when my order arrived. The best word I could use may be "huge" serving of Chicken Katsu Curry. This is coming from a big eater (like me!), the servings of Japanese rice and the size of the chicken katsu is really "huge". For people with small appetite it could feed 2 of you.

Taste wise, it delicious! The chicken is soft and can be sliced with your fork not much force applied. The curry sauce is thick and rich. Breading is not thick unlike those resto that serves katsudon. The place is clean and spacious. Overall, its 5 out of 5. You get what you paid for. :)
