Le Petit Soufflé

Le Petit Souffle - 2nd floor Mega fashion hall

One of the best resto I've tried so far, may not come cheap but it's really worth it. Le Petit Soufflé is a French - Japanese concept restaurant by Chef Miko Aspiras and Charlie Paw, with a chic interior and a lot of instagrammable food plating. Taste and looks come perfectly together in this restaurant.

Ramen Nagi at Robinsons Magnolia

Ramen Nagi at Robinsons Magnolia Ground Floor

Been out for quiet a while, just gave birth to my beautiful baby girl. But hey, I have loads of pending articles and I haven't finished my Ramen Series. For my 3rd entry, ladies and gentlemen I present to you RAMEN NAGI.

We visited Ramen Nagi after my baby's pedia session, haha we are training the little one to accommodate us on our date. One location of Ramen Nagi is at Robinsons Magnolia, for those who will be commuting it is at a walkable distance from LRT 2 Gilmore Station, so you can alight at that station.

This is another one of those after work spontaneous dinner with my boyfriend, we want to try this for quite some time now, but we always backed out since the parking is always full. One night we got lucky as there was one empty parking slot so we decided to finally try Bawai's - Vietnamese Kitchen.

Bigoli

For the longest time Chavs who is my friend, my boss and also my mentor had planned to go to St.Pio in Libis, but due to certain commitments with work and stuff we were never successful. Then one morning before heading to work I sent an SMS asking if she's busy, luckily she had no meeting that morning. We both immediately blocked our office calendar from 11AM to 2PM hehe >:-).

Swensen's

Swensen's at Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City

Late post, supposed to be last May but didn't have time to write about it. So anyway, for Mother's Day we treated La Madre to a day full of edible arrangement to delight her tummy and ours to. We spent the whole afternoon at one of our favorite family hangout, Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City. Weird thing is, I'm writing our dessert first because I'm missing it :(.

Holdak Chicken

Holdak Bloggers' Night

Got an e-invite to a Bloggers' Night courtesy of Holdak Chicken. At first I was hesitant to go since I know that the traffic on that area was heavy to complete standstill. But hey, I have my number one supporter by my side encouraging me to push through with the invite. Teehee

Mushroom Burger Katipunan

Mushroom Fries

I went to this place on a by-request basis, I have tried Mushroom Burger on its original branch at Tagaytay luckily there’s one branch in Katipunan near Ateneo and UP Diliman. I am not a stranger to the Mushroom Burger menu but my friend is, so I decided to order for him King Mushroom Burger Meal for 160php , which is a whopping 2 layers of Mushroom+beef burger patties, vegetables and cheese separated by a half bun of bread. Fries and regular soft drinks are included in the meal.

Uncle Cheffy’s Brick-Oven Panizza

Uncle Cheffy's Facade

It was one of those lazy days where I just want to stretch my legs or go somewhere, spend a little because I still have money left from my bonus hahaha, and that somewhere led me to Eastwood City. So there I was, shopping around the tiyangge (Bazaar) looking for stuff that I could use or do something with. Luckily, it was the last day of the bazaar so most of the stuff I bought were discounted up to 50% off, you just have to charm the sales lady to get the discount… hahaha beat that! Before heading to Eastwood mall took a bit of dessert at Dairy Queen, then proceeded to my shopping at the mall. Around 7pm I got really tired and hungry, I was looking for a place to satisfy my starvation.

Estrel's Caramel Cake

Estrel's Caramel Cake, Quezon City

Not familiar with Scout Tobias road my sister and I bravely drove around this area to look for Estrel’s Caramel cake. My sister was the first one to have tasted the famous Caramel cake. And ever since, she have pleaded that I take her to Estrel’s. She even printed a Google map showing the location of Estrel’s. Since it was her birthday and she was willing to pay for the gas and the cake, I offered my chauffer service for free.

Happy Lemon

Happy Lemon

A friend of mine started posting this Happy Lemon thread all over my Facebook wall, I quickly googled it and search what that Happy Lemon is. Good thing there was one near our place, which is at Eastwood mall.

So there I was one lazy after-the-dentist afternoon, with teeth still aching, headed towards Eastwood. The place was very welcoming and the ambiance makes you feel really happy, I thought it was another Japan milk tea like Bubble tea because the mascot of Happy Lemon is a cute cartoon with a Lemon as it head , but it is actually a Chinese tea franchise.

Mr. Kurosawa

Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese food, eastwood city
After long walks and shopping around Eastwood, my friend and I got hungry. We were deciding whether to eat at Flying pig or Mr. Kurosawa, but Japanese food that time sounds yummy so we decided to take our lunch at Mr. Kurosawa.

The place during that time was really jam packed, they have really big menu. Not just the size of the menu itself but also the number of choices available.  The menu is a combination of old Japanese food mixed with modern Hollywood - named and style of cooking.

Stackers Burger

Stackers Burger @ Eastwood City
Craving for a burger fix, my family and I went to this Aussie restaurant in Eastwood. It’s called Stacker’s burger.

They brag about having real Australian beef burger, and since we are a fan of burgers and have tried Carl’s jr, Brother’s burger and wham this is something we couldn’t miss.

Stackers Cheese Burger
Stackers Iced Tea
The 4 us ordered their Stacker’s cheese burger, garlic fries and iced tea. The price range is very affordable, ranging from 95-250php per burger. And 45php for the iced tea.

I really liked their cheese burger, the patty really was beefy although there’s really no telling if its real Australian beef. But it was very tasty and tender. The beef patties' oil comes out every time you bite and it is really delicious. Their servings are big and the iced tea is a well treat for this meal.

I also liked the garlic fries that we ordered, especially the garlic bits that is included in the serving.

Since we really liked it, we have visited the place 3 times since we first went there.

Old Vine Grille

Old Vine Grille, Eastwood City
Nothing to do on a Saturday, with my constant foodie companions aka my family. We decided to visit one of our favorite hang-outs which is Eastwood, which caters to a lot of restaurant.

We ate at Old Vine Grille which is somewhat a European restaurant. Very cosy and offers a French feel ambiance. It is located at the ground floor of Eastwood City. Like most restaurant in eastwood the interior is narrow but stretches far back.

I really enjoyed the services in this restaurant because they are easy to approach and efficient in taking your orders. They also know when to walk up to you and when not to.
The food taste great and is always served hot, plus they offer you gourmet crushed peppers so no need to asked. The servings are generous and is served fast.

Seafood Paella
My mom ordered Seafood Paella,  the servings were big I even asked her to give some of her paella. It was not to salty and tasted just right.

Baked Salmon
For my Dad, who is at a constant cholesterol watch he ordered Baked Salmon. According to the waiter no oil was used in cooking this salmon. Recommended for those health and weight watchers glutton.

Lasagna
My sister ordered Lasagna, the tomato sauce in this lasagna was very distinct. Taste like real Italian lasagna.

Tiger Prawn in cognac sauce
For me, I order a seafood plate, Tiger Prawn in Cognac Sauce. It was tasty and the sauce really complements the tiger prawn. One thing I was not really happy about is the size of the prawn, I thought it would be bigger. But all in all, the experience was fulfilling.
