Din Tai Fung

Din Tai Fung Philippines

We had previously tried Din Tai Fung in Hongkong which we enjoyed but I guess the popularity is not the same as when it came here in the Philippines. Here for a few months you have to wait for an hour to be seated because there were a lot of people lining up to try it.

TAMAGOYA Noodle House : Budget Friendly Ramen House

Continuing my Ramen Series we now move on to a restaurant that have been featured in POP Talk of QTV 11, located near the boundaries of Marikina and Antipolo the hole in the wall ramen house that is known as TAMAGOYA.

A 2-storey building that looks like it really came from Japan, the structures are made of wood and the whole feel of the area is so-Japanese like those we read in Manga's (Japanese Comics) and Anime (Japanese Cartoons). Parking here is not really a big problem since this place is located at a residential area you can actually park on the side of the road, but of course caution must be exercised.

Jipan Cafe and Bakeshop

Jipan Cafe and Bakeshop

I'll be creating a RAMEN series since I think this is what I crave for during my first trimester. This would be Ramen Series #1 : Jipan.

First on my list is JIPAN, located on Megamall A Ground floor. I like the pastries here but this would be the first time I tried their Ramen.

Bawai's: Vietnamese Kitchen

Bawai's - Vietnamese Kitchen

This is another one of those after work spontaneous dinner with my boyfriend, we want to try this for quite some time now, but we always backed out since the parking is always full. One night we got lucky as there was one empty parking slot so we decided to finally try Bawai's - Vietnamese Kitchen.

Luk Yuen Noodle House

Luk Yuen at Megamall

I have always been fascinated by the number of people eating at Luk Yuen. I am a big fan of Chinese food and I could say that Luk Yuen is one of those Chinese restaurants which are on top of my list for sure.  Their menu consists of classic Chinese dishes, dimsum, wanton, noodles, siomai and of course Yang Chow rice.
